Founded by Timothée Dessaint, the brand reflects a personal perspective shaped by growing up between different cultures, with French and Japanese roots forming its foundation—two cultures that approach clothing with clarity and restraint.
DESIGN
We design each piece with careful attention to proportion. The focus is not on decoration, but on how a garment holds itself, how it drapes, how it moves, and how it integrates into a modern wardrobe.
FABRIC
Fabric selection is central to this process. We work exclusively with natural fibers, sourcing exceptional materials chosen for their structure, texture and longevity—from dense, long-staple cottons to heavyweight brushed fleece, virgin wools, cashmere, and superfine lambswool. Every fabric is selected to age well and to maintain its integrity over time.
PRODUCTION
Our production takes place in England, Portugal and Italy, partnering with specialised manufacturers who prioritise craftsmanship and quality over volume. We work closely with each of our partners to ensure consistency in construction, finishing and fabric integrity.
INTENTION
At its core, Dessaint is guided by a continual pursuit of refinement: studying established wardrobe staples, reducing them to their essence, and elevating them through a modern lens.
